Keat Hong Chinese Orchestra (Singapore)
Keat Hong Chinese Orchestra was formed in 1974. It has been
awarded with various honours in Singapore, including the first prize in the
National Music Competition and Best Performing Award from 1987 to 1993 continuously
for four years and the National Youth Letter of Commendation in 1996. In
addition to presenting concerts regularly, it has been invited to perform in
various concerts overseas, including the Cultural Festival in Honour of Her
Majesty, the Queen of Thailand, in Bangkok in 1992.
