The Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra's 
20th Anniversary Concert
(1982-2002)

For the first time in the history of Melbourne, we are bringing together four prestigious Chinese Orchestras from different parts of South East Asia to celebrate Chao Feng's 20th Anniversary.

The Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra Melbourne, Australia.
Hong Kong Music Lover Chinese Music Orchestra.
The Keat Hong Chinese Orchestra from Singapore.
The Professional Cultural Centre Orchestra from Malaysia.

The four Chinese orchestra will form a combined orchestra of more than 100 of the finest musicians for this special event.

        Original composition of Mr Chew with a rich Malaysian flavour. His works have received numerous prizes internationally. Me Chew has recently been appointed Assistant Conductor of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra.

    • Conductor: Wai Sing-Fat
      Under Wai Sing-Fat's baton, the Orchesyta has performed widely in Hong Kong, U.S.A, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Wai also conducted the Orchestra in CD recordings produced and recorded by BMG.

  • Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra (Melbourne, Australia)
    • Conductor: June Chan
      June Chan was born in Hong Kong and started her musical training at the age of six. She completed a performance certificate on Electronic organ at the Melba Memorial Conservatorium of Music in 1990. In the same year, she also commenced a Bachelor of Music course at the Australian Catholic University.
